1. BALBOA PARK

Things to do in San Diego

Ever changing. Always amazing.  Where culture, science, and nature collide, Balboa Park is home to more than 16 museums, multiple performing arts venues, lovely gardens, trails, and many other creative and recreational attractions, including the world-famous San Diego Zoo. With a variety of cultural institutions among its 1,200 beautiful and lushly planted acres, there is something for everyone. Check out one of the many cultural festivals happening at Balboa Park!

2. LA JOLLA COVE

La Jolla is the Spanish word for jewel.  A great place for snorkeling, kayaking and stand up paddling, the La Jolla Cove is a true gem along southern California’s coastline. La Jolla Cove is a very small beach, tucked between sandstone cliffs. Because of its extraordinary beauty, La Jolla Cove is one of the most photographed beaches in Southern California. Be sure to check out the ocean caves!

3. LUCHO LIBRE, MISSION HILLS

Thanks to its proximity to the border, San Diego is known for its authentic Mexican food. Lucho Libre, a Mexican wrestling-themed taqueria, takes things to the next level by adding a twist of Californian fusion. Enjoy California burritos (Carne Asada and French Fries), Mexican Hotdogs and the Flaco Taco (marinated chicken in a lettuce wrap). Be prepared to wait in line!

4. WRENCH & RODENT SEABASSTRO PUB, OCEANSIDE

Dare to try something different!
