As we enter the Spring, Academic Program Administrators (APAs) all over the country are preparing to find host families for our 2012-2013 Academic Year students.
Recently, APAs from Oregon and Washington got together at the Vineyard Portal in Vancouver, WA to hold CHI’s annual ‘AYP Kick Off’. This event has become a highly anticipated tradition, and is a great chance for our northwestern staff to gather together and start planning out the next year.
Additionally, a number of current AYP students are invited to share their experiences and speak about their impressions of the program. This year, students from Slovakia, Belgium, Italy, Norway, and Germany participated. The feedback is incredibly valuable, and helps inspire the team for the upcoming year.
In the end, all of the CHI staff and students enjoyed the day, and we thank everyone who had a hand in planning and running our 2012 Kick Off.
