Participants of CHI’s Camp Leaders program experience the excitement of working in the great outdoors, while at the same time, making a difference in children’s lives. Mel Cameron, from Wales, knows firsthand the benefits of this program. Not only does Mel work for our partner organization Smaller Earth in Liverpool, UK, but for the last 14 years, Mel has been a summer camp counselor.
Mel spends her summers at Camp Equinunk & Camp Blue Ridge located in Equinunk, PA. She loves the program because it is both fun and challenging. Mel is described as fun, outgoing and loved by her friends, campers and co-workers here and abroad.
