Virginia au pairs give thanks by gathering together at the home of Community Administrator Joy Gough for a traditional Thanksgiving meal. The au pairs had a great time visiting and enjoyed delicious food.
They also took a moment to share what they are thankful for. Maria Belen Acuna, from Argentina, said “I’m thankful to the CHI family for being the tool to make my dreams come true! I’ve always dreamt about coming to the States and had a long list of things to do on my bucket list. And the only reason I’m making my dreams come true is because I joined the au pair program! Also, the program gave me the chance to meet amazing people (starting with my host family). Thank you so much for everything! Happy Thanksgiving to you all!!!”
