In honor of International Education Week (#IEW), the College of Marin hosted an event on November 14, 2018, to welcome their international students and to inspire American students to travel abroad.
CHI’s World Explorers team had a table at the event to promote our programs that send Americans overseas. We received a lot of interest and talked to several students and teachers. CHI’s international interns joined in a game of World Trivia taking 2nd and 3rd place!
It was an active day on campus, the international event coincided with an Anti-Hate Rally. Leader from Associated Students of College of Marin organized a walkout and film screening as part of the activities happening around the Bay Area for United Against Hate Week, November 11 through 18. CHI’s international interns that participated in the event were able to experience what life is like on an American college campus.
