Shang Wang, from Henan China, is currently part of CHI’s Short Term Enrichment Program (STEP). Shang, who goes by the American name Zoie, is currently living in Chicago with her host family Annette and Jacob. For three months Zoie is interning at Bordeaux Studios in Evanston, IL.
Sharing culture is such an important part of all of CHI’s programs. Zoie recently demonstrated this by making a traditional Chinese dish for her host family. Together they shopped for ingredients, cooked the dish and ate. From the look on Jacob’s face, I think the meal was a success!
