“Bogdan Milanovic, 18, of Olympia, is a 2009 winner of the prestigious $40,000 Entrepreneurial Scholarship from the McKelvey Foundation, a national nonprofit that fosters teen entrepreneurship, He is one of 73 teens, selected from 1,200 applications nationwide, for the coveted scholarship that recognizes and rewards teens who have started and are successfully running their own businesses. A senior at Olympia High School, Milanovic founded Bogmil Website Consulting (www.bogmil.com), a company that specializes in Web site marketing, Web site brokerage and Internet consulting. Milanovic will attend the University of Washington in the fall and will major in business administration, according to the foundation.”
