Dominican exchange student Cesar Castillo Castro spent his summer participating in CHI’s Work and Travel program. Cesar worked at the Best Western in Ruidoso, New Mexico. After completing his program Best Western General Manager Holly Bailey wrote to us to say how wonderful Cesar was. Read Holly’s wonderful letter below.
“He was amazing during his season here. I have never had a harder worker or someone with a more positive attitude; even with my regular staff in my 12 years of hotel management. He went above and beyond to help every staff member and every guest; from opening doors to carrying luggage. He is an amazing example of what true heroic hospitality is. He made us laugh, he filled the days he was here with positivity and motivation, and he made us cry when we had to say goodbye. Cesar’s was the last certificate to be handed out because the whole room was in tears when it was his turn. He is an amazing employee and all around a great person. Thank you, for giving me the opportunity to work with such an awesome individual!”
