JiangLei, from China, took a break from studying criminal law at Bejing Normal University to join CHI’s Short Term Enrichment Program.  For three months JiangLei is volunteering at The New Century School, in Baltimore.  He has had the opportunity to teach math and Chinese to students from all backgrounds.  The New Century School is built on academic rigor, constructive energy, and mutual respect. Its atmosphere is friendly and its population diverse.  Volunteering has been a truly rewarding experience for JianLei

JiangLei is staying with a wonderful host family.  There are three children in the home and all they recently took a trip to Washington DC to sightsee and explore China Town.
