Exchange Students From Nine Countries say Farewell

High school exchange students from nine countries gathered together in Sanbornton, NH to say farewell to their friends and amazing host families.  Their fun party was written about in local paper The Laconia Daily Sun.  The farewell party featured an old-fashioned barn dance with calling and fiddle playing.

The article goes on to say, “Reflecting on her year in this country, Elisa Drion from Belgium said that, not only has she greatly improved her English, but she has found a new multigenerational family. The Shartar Anderson Howe family from Calef Hill Road in Sanbornton provided her with a comforting home away from home while she attended Winnisquam Regional High School.”
