Have your international travel plans been cancelled due to COVID-19? CHI is now offering various summer job opportunities to Americans right here in the USA! 

Every summer, CHI brings thousands of international university students to work seasonal jobs across the USA, and now, CHI would like to extend these unique job opportunities to Americans. If you have been dreaming about getting paid to travel, this is your chance! 

The Work and Travel experience is a great way to travel on a budget and gain valuable work experience in another state. You will be working alongside other Americans as well as some international students from various countries. Housing is either included or can be arranged at an affordable rate. You will have access to a kitchen in order to prepare your own meals. There is no program fee for our World Explorer participants!  You will just be responsible for your domestic travel expenses.

Denali National Park, Alaska

Spend your summer surrounded by the beautiful nature at Denali National Park in Alaska! CHI has openings for front desk receptionists at Denali Crows Nest Cabins. This is an ideal position for someone who loves the great outdoors and enjoys working with people. You will meet people from all across the country and beyond. The cabins are located just one mile outside the park. You will live in one of the cabins on site. The accommodation offered is very rustic, so you must be comfortable being one with nature. Denali National Park is a top destination for nature lovers. You will also get amazing discounts on activities like rafting, ziplining and hiking! Whitewater raft down the Nenana River, hike the Horseshoe Lake Trail and the Mt. Get the best of both city living and outdoor adventure in Anchorage! Anchorage is Alaska’s biggest city and offers everything from museums to nightlife. It is situated between the mountains and the sea, so the view is anything but boring. CHI can offer various restaurant service positions at 49th State Brewing Co. in Anchorage. This hip brewery offers a fun and fast-paced work environment where you will meet other like-minded people. The employer can help you find affordable housing near the brewery. It is easy to get around Anchorage by foot or with public transportation. Anchorage is home to the, Alaska Native Heritage Center, which displays traditional crafts, stages dances, and presents replicas of dwellings from the area’s indigenous groups. The city is also a gateway to nearby wilderness areas and mountains including the Chugach, Kenai and Talkeetna. Take day trips to nearby lakes, mountains and rivers on your day off!
