Every year, we welcome some of our Academic Year Program (AYP) students from East Asia for intensive English classes that help them prepare for their year in the U.S. It’s an extra special bonus program that is a lot of fun and very helpful for our students, all of whom are incredibly brave and dedicated to making a positive impact on the world.

We asked the students in the above photo to share their first impressions of the U.S.:

“It’s very comfortable to stay in the US, especially in Oregon!”-Hibiki
“I was nervous but my teacher and classmates are very kind.”-Anju
“All of the people are very nice and I get to experience things I can’t do in Japan.”-Mimi

Most of our AYP students have arrived and we are so excited to welcome all of these future leaders!
