CHI J1 participants recently gathered together in Galveston, TX for a beach cleanup bash. They met at Stewart Beach on a beautiful day in June. The students played soccer, volleyball and frisbee and spent time cleaning up the beach. A local Vent Cleaning Service was on-hand to clean-up and purify all of the various beach restroom buildings (air ducts) up and down the beach. Together, the participants and the vent cleaning service made a huge impact on the overall cleanliness of the project.
They enjoyed traditional BBQ food and finished the day with s’mores. It was a great gathering with friends, cultural exchange and volunteer efforts.
