Each summer thousands of foreign visitors come to the U.S. for short-term exchange programs to fulfill their dreams of experiencing the American way of life. The Summer Work & Travel host businesses where our participants work are such an important part of our program. CHI strives to find quality employers who will not only teach our participants about American business, but will encourage the cultural component that is such a vital part of this experience.This summer we have a wonderful host business called Magic Springs & Crystal Falls Water and Theme Park, located in Hot Springs, AR. Director Alan Williams has been a great contact person for the 11 exchange visitors currently there. Participants spend their days working in food and beverage, guest services, cabana service and retail. For fun, they enjoy fireworks every Friday night, live concerts with national recording artists and trips to travel destinations in the nearby area. CHI Employment Service Manager Teresa Ottofaro-Devries recently visited with some of the students where she took great photos and recorded a few video testimonials.
