Ivy Ye and Dale Sun, from China, are currently participating in CHI’s Short Term Enrichment Program. Both girls are volunteering at Lawrence General Hospital, in Massachusetts and are doing a great job. They are making a great impression with hospital staff and patients. The hospital recently launched a week-long wellness program and Ivy and Dale jumped right in to help with the project. They were in charge of greeting employees, entering information into a database, handing out prizes and assisting with gathering supplies during the course of the event.
Lawrence General Hospital staff member said, “They were incredible. Never once did they hesitate to help. The program was fast paced at times, and they kept right up. They were also bright enough to ask for help, or make a suggestion to help make the process move more smoothly. I am not sure our program would have been as successful without their participation. Also, I really enjoyed spending time getting to know them. I liked hearing about their schooling, family life, and interests. They have great personalities. There is no doubt these two women will do well after graduation.”
