CHI is pleased to announce that Chanon (Gene) Wongthonglaue has been named November student of the month. Gene is an exceptional exchange student from Thailand. He is currently living with the Arp family and attending Beaufort High School in South Carolina. Gene has a wonderful personality. He loves meeting new people, works hard in school and strives for perfection.
Gene loves his host family, Joe and Linda. They have a very special connection. Linda is a breast cancer survivor and Gene’s mother passed away last year from the same. It is amazing to have a host mom that knows exactly what his mom went through.
We are so proud of Gene and all that he has accomplished so far!
