Belgian AYP student Amandine Dumont, 18, recently completed an enjoyable stay in the United States. As an accomplished horse rider, she was perfectly suited to her placement with the Kehoe family, who live on a horse farm in Missouri.
When Amandine wasn’t attending school, she spent much of her free time riding and training horses. Her favorite was a beautiful black mare quarter horse who Amandine rode and trained daily, eventually teaching her to side pass. She also participated in a number of local horse shows.
Amandine did a great job of getting the most out of her AYP experience, and was a wonderful addition to the AYP program and to her host family. All of us at CHI thank the Kehoe family for opening their home to this lovely young woman. We all miss her already, and wish her continued success in her equestrian endeavors.
