CHI welcomed our spring Work & Travel participants in March. They are mostly from the Philippines, as now Thailand has changed their academic calendar and has become one of the “summer” countries.
Our participants are working in a variety of areas throughout the U.S. With the arrival of spring and warmer weather, there is an increased need for seasonal help. They are doing a wonderful job and enjoying their American experience.
We have recently launched the first ever CHI Global Alumni Association.
CHI’s Global Alumni Association was created to provide opportunities for cultural exchange program alumni to stay in touch with CHI and each other, to make new connections in their area or industry, to learn about professional and volunteering opportunities around the world, and to grow professionally and personally.
Here, past participants can build on their exchange experience and take advantage of a host of exclusive resources available to them as a member of the association.
We have been reaching out to CHI Work & Travel Alumni to start, but hope to extend it to alumni of all CHI programs moving forward. All ideas and support for this project are welcome! Please send thoughts to chiwt@chinet.org.
