AMERICAN BUSINESS embraces cultural exchange

CHI is partnering with a new employer this year in Des Moines, Iowa. Steena Co. (McDonald’s) recently welcomed 27 Summer Work and Travel participants at a few of their locations. They have gone above and beyond to make participants feel welcome and to ensure they are experiencing the cultural aspect of the program.

Traditional Hawaiian culture with work & travel

Work and Travel participants in Hawaii recently experienced a unique cultural event. They took part in a traditional oli (Hawaiian Chant) and presentation to honor kupuna (ancestors).
