Work and Travel participants in Hawaii recently experienced a unique cultural event. They took part in a traditional oli (Hawaiian Chant) and presentation to honor kupuna (ancestors).

This ceremony is a special moment to reflect, and honor our kupuna and ‘ohana (family). We honor those both living and passed, and those that we wish we’d met or knew more about. The goal is to connect more deeply to our roots, while also gaining some perspective.

What a memorable experience! What was your most memorable cultural experience?
