The Waters family recently welcomed their au pair, Alejandra Henao, from Colombia. The entire family greeted Alejandra at the Atlanta airport. Audrey, Maggie and Casey (not pictures) are all thrilled to meet their new au pair!
Welcome Au Pair Alejandra
Au Pairs are young people from all over the world who join American host families, providing up to 45 hours of loving childcare per week, while sharing new cultures and languages. Au Pairs live as members of their host families, embracing their role as someone the parents can depend on.
Hosting an Au Pair is a rewarding and enriching cultural experience for the entire family. You and your children will have the opportunity to embrace another culture right in your own home. Your family’s view of the world will expand through you and your Au Pair sharing each other’s language, culture and customs.
CHI’s Au Pairs undergo a thorough screening process, including personal interviews, previous childcare experience evaluation, psychometric testing, criminal background checks and confirmed character reference checks. CHI’s Au Pairs love children and are excited to share their cultural heritage with their host family and to become a part of the daily family life.
For over 36 years, CHI has been developing international cultural exchange programs. CHI’s mission is that businesses, hosting families and young Americans share and exchange their values, their love and their freedom with young people from all of over the world. We believe this to be the best way to promote trust and understanding among nations and to build a more prosperous, peaceful world.
