CHI Au Pair USA welcomed 12 new au pairs in April from 10 different countries! Something quite extraordinary happened during their orientation in Washington, DC. The au pairs were surprised to find a mama duck and her 13 babies wandering around the hotel parking lot. Animal Welfare soon arrived, and with the help of the au pairs and hotel staff, they began working to round-up the ducks. Everyone fanned out with a few au pairs even crawling under parked cars to reach the baby ducks.
Eventually mama duck and all her babies were corralled into a large carrier and delivered to a nearby park with a pond. It was quite entertaining and everyone was thrilled at the happy ending!
