“Our homestay was filled with sharing thoughts, language, food preparations and fun times. We learned from each other and the growth in the girls was noticeable by the end of the month. They became more confident with their English communication skills. They became more comfortable with my routines and customs. They were very helpful and respectful of me. They worked well together as a team. They loved my good old American food so I did most of the cooking. But, they did prepare me some wonderful Chinese dishes which I now have the recipes for!

We went on field trips to my favorite places the beach, Portsmouth and shopping. They loved the beach, supermarkets and the snow the best. This program is very worthwhile for the students and for those that become involved. I would recommend it to anyone.”
