CHI’s global network of partner agencies help promote the Work & Travel program to university students from all walks of life. They then assist the participant through every step of the process, working closely with CHI to ensure everything is completed correctly. The work our partners do truly helps to increase mutual understanding between the people of their countries and those of the United States. Nothing beats people to people, in-person exchanges!

CHI wants Americans and exchange visitors to come together and share culture, values, skills and life experiences. We have been opening doors to the world through quality exchange programs since 1980 because shared experiences bring people together and bringing people together changes the world.

The World Explorers program offers native English speakers the opportunity to experience the excitement of living abroad. Help us find quality host families ready to open their homes to an exchange visitor. In exchange for room and board the host family will receive 15 hours of conversational English per week.
