CHI has been organizing cultural exchange programs since 1980! We are a nonprofit organization fully devoted to the cause of international understanding, diversity awareness and goodwill through exchange opportunities, such as the Au Pair program.

CHI Au Pair is one of 15 government-designated sponsors of the Au Pair cultural exchange program. Our team firmly believes CHI Au Pair provides a wonderful experience, allowing young people from around the world to be seen as a family member, rather than a participant of an exchange program. THE APPLICATION PROCESS
- Partner agency submits applications to CHI.
- CHI interviews applicant via Skype
- Partner Agency created online profile
- CHI responds to host family communication
- Partner agency schedules visa appointment
- CHI makes arrival arrangements; email itinerary to Au Pair
- Partners complete quarterly reports; Complete end of program forms 60 days prior to Au Pair’s end of program.
- CHI makes departure arrangements; issue return flight itinerary and final package to Au Pair
